Clean, reliable books.
No judgment, chaos, or surprise billing.

I help small business owners who feel behind, overwhelmed, or ashamed of their books regain clarity and confidence, but without judgment or surprise billing.

You might be here because ...

If you’re here, it’s likely not because you’re careless. It’s because life, growth, or unexpected changes made it hard to keep up.

  • You know your business is doing fine, but your books don’t feel solid anymore

  • You’ve outgrown the systems you set up when things were smaller

  • Tax time is stressful because answering questions takes longer than it should

  • You’re worried small issues are hiding quietly in the background

  • You’ve been avoiding this because you don’t want to feel judged or overwhelmed

  • You’ve fallen behind and feel embarrassed about how bad things have gotten

  • You avoid looking too closely because you’re afraid of what you’ll find

  • You’re worried a CPA or bookkeeper will judge you or lecture you

If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you’re not failing.

What I do

I specialize in bookkeeping cleanup and organization for small businesses.

That means:

  • reviewing and reconciling your accounts

  • organizing transactions and receipts

  • identifying and resolving inconsistencies

  • leaving you with books that are clear, accurate, and ready to move forward

Many of my clients come to me feeling embarrassed or overwhelmed. My job is not to judge how things got here, but to calmly and methodically get everything back under control.

This is not about pointing out mistakes.
It’s about resetting everything to a known-good baseline so you’re no longer guessing.

How it works

1. We talk. I ask structured questions to understand your business, systems, and scope.
2. You get a clear recommendation. I explain what level of cleanup makes sense and why.
3. Fixed Pricing. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
4. I do the work. You get regular updates and a clean, organized set of books at the end.

If anything changes in scope, we pause and discuss it before moving forward.

Who this is for

This is a good fit if:

  • you run a small business or solo practice

  • your books are “mostly okay” but not fully reviewed or reconciled

  • you want clarity and structure, not bandaids

  • you value calm, transparent communication

This is not a good fit if:

  • you’re looking for the cheapest option

  • you want ongoing hourly bookkeeping without structure

  • you’re not ready to address issues that surface during cleanup

FAQ Section

Q: Is this just bookkeeping?
A:
I specialize in cleanup and organization, not day-to-day data entry. My work focuses on reviewing, reconciling, and correcting existing books so you can move forward with confidence. Ongoing support is optional, and available separately.
Q: My books are really behind. Is this still something you help with?
A:
Yes. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed or ashamed of how far behind they are. Falling behind happens for many reasons, and it's fixable. My work is focused on calmly assessing what's there and getting things back to a clear reliable baseline, without judgement.
Q: My books aren't a disaster. Can you still help?
A:
Yes. Many of my clients come to me because their books are "mostly fine" but not fully reviewed or reconciled. Cleanup is about reducing hidden risks and friction, not just fixing obvious mistakes.
Q: Do you charge hourly?
A:
No. I work on a fixed-price basis so you know the full cost upfront. If the scope changes, we pause and discuss it before moving forward. No surprise billing.
Q: How do you decide what level of cleanup I need?
A:
I look at factors like timeframes, number of accounts, transaction volume, complexity, and whether items like payroll or contractors are involved. I will explain my recommendation clearly so you understand the reasoning behind it.
Q: How long does a cleanup usually take?
A:
Most projects take between 2 and 12 weeks, depending on scope and how quickly access and documents are provided. You will receive updates throughout so you are never guessing where things stand.
Q: Will you work with my CPA or tax preparer?
A:
Yes. Part of my goal is to leave you with books that are easy to hand off to your CPA, reducing back-and-forth and last minute questions at tax time.
Q: What do you need from me to get started?
A:
Once you decide to move forward, I'll request access to your accounting software and any necessary statements or documents. I'll guide you through exactly what's needed so it's straightforward.
Q: What if we discover something unexpected during cleanup?
A:
If we find additional accounts or complexity that changes the scope, we pause and discuss options before continuing. You’ll always have the opportunity to review and decide.
